I have been into art in many forms for as long as I can remember.

I was born in Clinton, Iowa and lived there for my first 16 years. During my Freshman year at Mount St Clare Academy the art class was in the best art room EVER! My family then moved to Trumbull, NE and I have been in this area ever since. 

Art fell by the wayside for a long time while family and work took center stage. I left my clerical job at the local hospital and went back to school...at 54. One Associate Degree in Business Administration and a Diploma in Media Arts later, I am giving my love for creating art a chance!

I have a studio above our farm office that I can easily spend an entire day...or week in. These days I have been concentrating on watercolor and ink. I love the definition that the ink gives to a watercolor painting. I also work in acrylics and dabble in crafty types of media such as alcohol inks. 

My subject matter ranges from scenery to florals and small animals. 

I also do some illustrating and logo design. I concentrated on graphic design in my media arts studies.
